zoo-trip started

Journal Entry: Tue Nov 15, 2011, 2:26 PM
hi, I started my zoo-trip two days ago in Prague with visiting Sea world. you can find there some very nice akvariums and many fish - of course :) it is not big, but very nice place for fish-fans. :)
Next day I decided for zoo in Ústí nad Labem. I was curious because they have so much carnivora babys. Unfortunately I  could be there only few hours, so I spended almost whole time with leopards, lions and tiger. Zoo was almost empty - there was only one group of schoolchildren. But they were so noisy, so I had not a problem to  avoid them :D I must say that pavilion with predators is very beautiful - animals have quite big outdoor exhibits. Only one thing I did not like - wall of outdoor exhibit are made from glass - that is ok - but why are they wavy??? Whitout camera you can not see very well into exhibit, and photo taking was quite dificult. I know, it seems very modern, but the practical side is far away ... In global is this zoo very nice (at least this part which I visited) and worth to visit it.
Today I was in Liberec. The weather was foggy and it was quite cold. I was there only 3 (three)!!! hours, then I had to run away. Also in this zoo were more staff than visitors. But I saw whole zoo - it is not so big but nice. It is a lot exhibits with glass wall there, this is fine - you can very good watch animals, but when glass is frozen and there are "ice flowers" is something wrong :D This visit was very nice although it was short. :)
