Description

eurasian wolves, bavarian forest, germany

we went there quite early morning, because we wanted to see wolves feeding ... and it was worth ... we could see amazing behavior of wolf pack, we were able without problems recognize who is alpha or omega ... funny thing was that omega alone waited on this feeding place whole minutes befor it started, then came two guys and threw some meet to the wolf ... he ate it but he still watched where are the others and when they came he was almost full :D
but I must say that later we saw, that they feed wolves also on the other place, distance from visitors paths, so the rest of the pack just waited on the second course ...
we noticed that on the feeding place for visitors wolves recieve only nice pieces of meet, without bones and such things (it looked like a meet from supermarket for human), but on the other place they got a big meet with bones - simply a pieces of some animals ... keepers maybe don´t want to scary visitors, but I thing it is not good because wolves are predators and they just eat other animals it is normal and there is no reason to hide it ...

This is a truly amazing photo of 2 wolves. The facial expression of each wolf is stunning. Now me being the wolf freak I am known for this is a very good picture The expressions of the two are amazing. It shows just how wolves communicate with one another. It shows when ever they eat don't be screwing around, they get serious. Dogs are like that, but wolves have a tendency to be much more serious when it comes to mates and food. This is a truly amazing picture and I love it so much. The expression and the focus on there expressions is perfect
